Referral Scheme – Terms & Conditions

 

Eligibility

The referral scheme is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

Referrers must not be employed by Halo Mortgages or involved in the mortgage application of the referred client.

Referrals must be genuinely new clients who have not previously contacted or been in discussion with Halo Mortgages.

 

How the Reward Is Earned

A referral is counted when you introduce someone to Halo Mortgages and they proceed with a mortgage application through us.

The £50 voucher is issued only after the referred client’s mortgage completes.

If the mortgage does not complete for any reason, no reward is payable.

 

Reward Details

The reward is a £50 voucher. The voucher type may vary and is subject to availability.

Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

 

Limits & Fair Use

You may refer multiple clients; however, Halo Mortgages reserves the right to limit referrals where activity appears unreasonable, fraudulent, or abusive.

The referred client may only be referred once. If multiple people refer the same person, the reward will be paid to the first referrer recorded.

 

Compliance & Advice

Referrers must not provide mortgage advice or make any financial recommendations on behalf of Halo Mortgages.

All advice will be provided directly by Halo Mortgages, a regulated mortgage adviser.

 

Data Protection

By making a referral, you confirm that you have the referred person’s permission to share their contact details with Halo Mortgages.

All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

Scheme Changes

Halo Mortgages may amend or withdraw the referral scheme at any time without prior notice.

Any referrals already in progress at the time of a change will still be honoured under the terms active when the referral was made.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: FRAUD WARNING
We will never send you an email asking you to transfer money or requesting
your bank details. We will never ask you to transfer deposit money to your
solicitor.
If you receive an email claiming to be from us and asking for you to transfer
money, please take no further action and phone us immediately.
Your solicitor or another professional involved in your property transaction
may request this, but you should always seek confirmation from them directly
that the email is genuine before sending any payment.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
As with all insurance policies, conditions and exclusions will apply
You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.
